Programmes for leadership teams
Performance through biological alignment
What is JLF Consulting?
JLF Consulting is a performance and stress-resilience consultancy built on metabolic health.
It exists to close a gap in the Luxembourgish market on the science of ketones and the pillars of health and performance, applied to a leadership team as a group, and measured rather than asserted.
JLF comes from Jacob's ladder. A climb taken one rung at a time in pursuit of new heights.

Who you will work with
FERRANDINI Yannick
When I was an astrophysics student years ago, I did everything I thought to be correct to help me keep up with the workload and stress. If you had looked at me then, you would have thought I was the picture of health and thus also mental performance. Yet I was easily distracted, had to take frequent breaks and naps despite sleeping for more than eight hours a night, and felt terrible mentally. Yet, I was doing everything conventional advice tells you to do.
I did not want to accept that this was how it was supposed to be. Was this the best I could do? My drive to optimise, kept pushing me to find some way to improve, that is when I came across what was going to change my approach fundamentally. Upon this, I threw myself into deep research, paper after paper. I was convinced, that what I had found had real value in people’s lives. I built my knowledge back up from the ground and tested theory after theory. That is how I came to bring it to companies: to help their people out of the same situation and take their performance to a level they did not think was available to them.
All of it started with one word: Ketones
Projects
Baseline Pillars
A short programme for a leadership team that wants to understand what actually governs their energy, and what specifically to change, before committing to a quarter of measuring it. Four weeks, a group session, one conversation each, and an honest read of where the team sits at the start and a month later.
Executive Performance Programme
Twelve weeks with a leadership team of seven to ten. Blood markers and body composition at the start and the end, a fortnightly individual session with every participant, an objective attention test each week, and a scoring method published before any data is collected.
Individual Consultations
One to one, for someone who wants the same method applied to their own situation with real accountability behind it.
Performance guide
The methodology behind the programmes I use with my clients to help them experience the peak of performance. How to change the fuel your body runs on, and how to build training, sleep and recovery around it, so your energy and focus hold steady across the whole day. With a model day, a staged training plan, and the blood markers that prove it is working.
Why this is different.
Most workplace wellbeing programmes cannot tell you whether they worked. They measure themselves with a satisfaction survey, given to people who know they are being surveyed about something their employer paid for. That instrument improves whether or not anything happened.
This one is built to be checked.
The scoring formula is written down and dated before any data is collected, so it cannot be adjusted afterwards to make a result look better. It rests on physical markers rather than only personal satisfaction level, which makes the result checkable instead of a matter of impression.
That is how confident I am in the result:
I know exactly what will change and state it beforehand.

Three.
Baseline is a short programme that takes a leadership team through what actually governs their energy, and produces a starting picture of where they currently sit.
The Executive Performance Programme is twelve weeks with a team of seven to ten, with blood markers and body composition at both ends, a fortnightly individual session for every participant, and an objective attention test each week.
Individual Consultations are one to one, for someone who wants the same method applied to their own situation.
Most companies start with Baseline and decide from there.

I write the scoring method down and date it before collecting any data, so it cannot be adjusted afterwards to flatter a result. The survey carries control questions the programme should have no effect on, and those are reported alongside the rest whether or not they moved. Attention is measured with a timed test rather than asked about.

Email or the form on this page, whichever is easier. yannick@jlf-consulting.lu, or +352 621 657 075 if you would rather talk.
I answer within one working day. The first conversation is thirty minutes, costs nothing, and exists only to work out whether this fits what you are actually dealing with. A no is as useful an outcome as a yes

Programmes are quoted per cohort, not per person. A twelve-week leadership cohort starts at 20,000 € and includes the group introduction, a fortnightly individual session for every participant, all measurement and the reporting.
What is not included is named right away: laboratory costs, the doctor's appointment, any sensors and any supplements. Those sit with the company or the participant and are written into the proposal.
You get one quote, with the exclusions listed, after a first conversation.

Difficult, and rewarding for the people who do the work.
Nothing here improves because of something I do to you. It improves because you change what you eat, when you sleep and how you move, and those changes are uncomfortable before they become ordinary. My part is to make each change specific enough to act on, to measure whether it is working, and to be straight with you about the difference between what was done and what was intended.
That is where the personal cost sits. There is no version of this that produces a result without the person doing something differently, which is important to understand.
